It’s compulsory to bring ordinances-PM
Kathmandu, August 6: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said it has been compulsory for the government to bring ordinances.
At a press meet organized by the Revolutionary Journalists’ Association here today, Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai said he was ready to step down immediately after the parties forged national consensus.
Restoration of the Constituent Assembly or election to the next CA is the best option to clear the present political impasse, he said, stressing the need to implement the five-point deal.
He said his party is for people-elected CA to bring constitution with federal republic.
PM Dr Bhattarai accused the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML of becoming reluctant to build consensus. He questioned whether they are for the consensus without the Maoists and Madhesi parties.
Earlier, he addressed a condolence gathering over the demise Abadh state committee member Kaladhar Neupane and said if the ideals of the late Neupane were implemented, it was possible to bring change in the country.
