Kathmandu, August 7: Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has directed the secretaries to bar the government officials and teachers from performing their duties without their official uniform.

Issuing a press statement yesterday, the CIAA said that many officials were found not wearing the uniform though they have received dress allowance.

The government has been providing Rs 7500 allowance for official uniform each year.
