Kathmandu, August 17: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that positive thought is needed for building a new Nepal.

Speaking at the second meeting of the Nepal Business Forum in the capital today, the Prime Minister said the country’s backwardness would never end until we quit the negative thinking.

 The Prime Minister who is also the chairman of the Forum said that economic prosperity is not achievable without modernizing and commercializing the agricultural sector.

 Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai said that social campaign should be launched to clarify the importance of entrepreneurship and commercialization.

 The Prime Minister opined that bilateral investment promotion and protection agreement (BIPPA) s needed to bring in more investments in water resources, tourism, agriculture, energy, infrastructure development and other sectors.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister also said that the government is planning to sign a BIPPA with China too.
